The Indigenous Life
So, as we seem to find at all of our stops, there are plenty of these guys on the islands. However, DJ told us that the iguana is not actually indigenous to the island. They were brought many years ago as pets and then turned loose during a flood and have now become quite happy with their new home.
I still think they’re kind of cool and see, old dogs can learn new tricks…. and I learned something new on this trip.
