Maho Beach
One of the biggest tourist stops on the island is at Maho Beach. This is a beach that is located right at the end of the runway for the Princess Juliana airport. People line up there in groves to watch the planes coming in….and feel the force of the jet engines. It was one of the stops on our tour and I have to admit, I found it to be fun. Although I did not position myself right under the incoming aircraft, I did get a couple of good pics.
This is the KLM Airlines 747 that comes in several times a week. It is the big event for the day.
