Natural Bridge

Natural Bridge
West & maybe a little south of Crater Lake, there is a place on Union Creek called Natural Bridge. It is a spot where the lava has left tubes and the creek is flowing through them, leaving a “natural bridge” over the water. This is one outlet of tube and the water was really rumbling coming out of it. Now, when we were there, the water was low enough to cross, although, they have it fenced off so you can’t cross it. It’s probably good, because there is ample opportunity to get in trouble. Even though the water was low, if someone were swept into the tube, I suspect they would be lost.
At any rate, it was a nice place and really quite beautiful.
Again, another good place to go and have a look.
