Calling It A Night
On our last evening at Yellowstone, we stopped in an area where we had seen some bears – Grizzlies – feeding on a downed buffalo. There were wolves too, and of course birds. We spent a lot of time watching them over two or three stops. On our last stop, they must have had it picked down because there wasn’t as much activity.
Went up the road a bit and watched a small pack of wolves – they were a long way off and it was getting late, so pics are poor. But while watching them, we saw this guy come down to the river for a bedtime drink and then he wandered back into the trees. It was kind of cool. You can very clearly see his hump….and his size.
It was a good trip….. and Linda got to see her bears…. ;0)
