Trunk Bay
So, as I said, while we were at St. Thomas, we took a trip out to St. John’s Island. The US Virgin Islands take great pride in St. John’s because it hosts the southernmost National Park in the US. So, our intent was to go over there and snorkel at Trunk Bay. It is supposed to be one of the premier beaches and bays in the Caribbean.
We did like the beach, unfortunately because of storm that had come in the day before and the swell that it brought, we couldn’t snorkel. So, we just took it easy on the beach for awhile and enjoyed the weather and the scenery. (Linda even accused me of taking a nap).
Anyway, I missed the snorkeling, but enjoyed the island and the bay. I’ll have to go back another day and try the snorkel trip again.
