Cold In The Forest

This little snippet of forest is not far from Fremont Pass on Hwy. 91 in the Colorado Rockies. Also, only about 15 miles from Leadville and our home. Linda looks at this every time we go past and especially in the winter. She loves the look, the way the small trees are surrounded by the taller ones and all are carrying snow.

I think it’s a great shot. I love the way she captures the trees, the snow and the depth of the scene. It is such a majestic place where we live.
