Up the Snowy Road of Independence
If you take the road up to Independence Pass, you will find a road that takes off to the south. We just decided to follow the road and see where it went. It ended up at the bottom of the bowl that is just below the pass. It was a fun day and a beautiful drive. However, it is one that can only be done by Jeep early in the winter, as the snow has fallen, it will require skis, snow mobiles or snowshoes. I’m glad we went when we did.
