At the fortress, there were people living, not just re-enacting, all the parts of the life there. This group of soldiers had the duty to sound the cannon on this day. They were outside of the main grounds and preparing to go and shoot their cannon. They were lined up and ready to march. You notice that their uniforms were not the same. It was not because of rank or job or anything else. One of the soldiers was explaining that it is all about the money they mostly do not have. It was interesting listening to one of them describe life at the fort. And once they were in, there wasn’t really a good way out.
