The mountains around Morenci, Arizona will come alive with wildflowers in the spring of a year with a wet winter. This is a shot of the California Golden Poppies that grow wild all over the mountain side.  It was shot with a Nikon D300 at the following settings:

Signs of Spring – I almost forgot one of the true signs that summer is truly on its way. The dandelions are in full bloom as well. The tell tale yellow flowers are all around and the fuzzy white globes are coming out too… ~Terry
