Dad of Bullwinkle
Now, as I watched the bull come down the hill and into the hiking trail, I found that there was another further up the side of the hill. Now this big boy was impressive. I am sure he is the biggest bull moose I’ve ever seen…..and certainly that close.
He was chomping on leaves and enjoying life. And again, he didn’t seem to mind that there was a group of people taking photos. He just ate and move around a little.
This bull was also in velvet. The antlers on this guy were certainly impressive. I can only imagine what they would look like when he goes into the rut and scrapes all that velvet off those antlers. Those points would surely become very sharp and very dangerous.
